Number of programs across the country such as DPEP, SSA, NPEGEL have been implemented towards universalization of elementary education. As a result , since past one decade there has been significant improvement in the enrollement and retention of children at the primary level. However, despite sincere and dedicated efforts at various levels to imporved quality in education, there is a long way to go. When one thinks of usual primary classes, the picture of any teacher centic classrooms that comes to one’s mind is as under:
Teacher dominates the classroom all the time, with no allowance for children to learn of develop on their own.
It is assumed that all children will learn the same thing at the same time and in the same manner.
The problems of multi-grade and multi-level nature of classroom are not addressed.
TLMs are rarely used by children as a normal practice.
Most of the materials used are not prepared for self-learning.
There is no opportunity for the child to learn the lessons missed during his/her absence from class.
Evaluation methods are mostly summative and test only the rote learning by children.
In order to address the above issues, Pragna – an activity based learning approach, has been initiated with an objective to correct and overcome these difficulties and to open the classroom to a more holistic and learner based way of working with children through the day, throughout the year.
Why Pragna?
It gives children an opportunity to learn at their own pace and level
Provides children a platform to learn through experience
It offers a chance to learn from teachers and peers
It gives child an exposure to various project work and field work
Child'a Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation is embedded & stress free
It helps child learning how to learn
Children are learning without burden

There is a need to strengthen the foundation of standard 1 to 8: Education Minister
The role of the School Management Committee in primary education becomes more effective and decisive in education reforms, besides meeting the needs of the various organizations like SMC and school teachers, in order to further enhance the teaching of education, in the presence of Education Minister Shri Bhupendrasinh Chudasama in the presence of the American Indian Foundation - AIF The annual meeting of the School Management Committee members across the state was organized by Tata Chemical Society for Rural Development. During the conference, panel discussions were discussed on two issues. In which government, CSR And with the concerted effort of voluntary organizations, the issues related to strengthening the quality of school management and education were discussed inclusive.
Minister of Education Bhupendrasinh Chudasama Addressing the members of the committee, the state government has implemented diagnostic testing and remedial programs for school admission ceremony, Gunotsav, Mission Vidyasya, weekly test and standard-2 students, in which the members of the school's SMC participants participate in such programs. It is time to play a result oriented role.
Primary education is the foundation of academic careers. To strengthen this foundation, with the help of teachers and teachers of the school, continuous coordination and consultation, SMC The Education Minister expressed hope that continuous support of members of the Committee will bring a certain qualitative improvement in education. He said that there is a need to strengthen the foundation of standard 1 to 8. SMC members can do the same with continuing follow up teachers of school-educated children and school level.
Who else can play a better role than the members of primary school SMMC in the process of reaching primary school, reaching standard-1 to standard-12 and many graduates? After completing elementary education with a child studying in a primary school and in a warm atmosphere and with the help of guardians and teachers, it is only necessary for secondary and higher education to get it. Only the primary education is very well done by the children of their own village, the vigilance and the necessary arrangements remain in the counseling of the school. Have to do This is not a big special responsibility. The responsibility of coordinating between the school and the child is the SMC's. When the awareness and responsibilities of SMC members are similar to social status, the Minister of Education also said.

Teachers working with Key Stage pupils might, for instance, focus on the subject content of science and develop science skills from these areas of experience. This product centred approach could, for example, give rise to oral explanations and demonstrations of scientific knowledge, and, from time to time, practical activities designed to provide direct experience of phenomena with opportunities to explore and investigate these phenomena. In providing a conceptual structure to help the learner build a functional mental representation, the teacher highlights what is relevant and the nature of the relationships between the elements. For example, the teacher might explain the compressibility of air in a bicycle pump by describing it as dispersed particles which may be brought closer or else by comparing it with the behaviour of a spring.

In contrast, teachers might focus on the processes of science and develop scientific conceptual understanding from it. This process-centred approach could, for instance, offer the children experiments and investigations as starting points for acquiring conceptual knowledge with little or no direct teaching of concepts. In this case a conceptual structure is withheld. The onus is on the children to recall or construct a functional mental representation without reference to a teachers' description of one. Pupils might infer relationships in the topic under study and may be given an opportunity to test and revise their ideas.

Of course, other teachers might focus on a combination of these two approaches and develop scientific skills and conceptual understanding from in this combination. This mixed approach could be a balance or, perhaps, a compromise, between a product-centred and a process-centred approach, in which the teacher provides a partial conceptual structure and leaves the remainder for children to construct by inferring, hypothesising, or testing their ideas. It could encourage lessons where children do investigations with some features already identified by the teacher, and with some conceptual knowledge about the subject that enables them to appreciate the purpose of the activity. In contrast, it could encourage lessons without a clear purpose which mixed different types of activity, but did not develop either conceptual or procedure understanding exclusively.

Useful teacher-to-student interactions are crucial in linking academic success with personal achievement. Here, personal success is a student's internal goal of improving himself, whereas academic success includes the goals he receives from his superior. A teacher must guide her student in aligning her personal goals with her academic goals. Students who receive this positive influence show stronger self-confidence and greater personal and academic success than those without these teacher interactions.Students are likely to build stronger relations with teachers who are friendly and supportive and will show more interest in courses taught by these teachers. Teachers that spend more time interacting and working directly with students are perceived as supportive and effective teachers. Effective teachers have been shown to invite student participation and decision making, allow humor into their classroom, and demonstrate a willingness to play Online College Course..

  • The Government of India decided to roll out the Voluntary National Pension System (NPS) for all citizens from 01 May 2009. PFRDA is identified as Nodal Authority to manage NPS operations. PFRDA appointed Department of Posts as one of the Point Of Presence (POP). Department of Posts is providing services through POP Service Providers (POP SPs). All Head Post Offices in India are identified as POP SPs.
  • With the inputs given by you, you will get the corpus that will be accumulated by you at the time of your retirement.
  • National Pension System (NPS) is a government sponsored pension scheme. It is a contribution based scheme where the amount of pension to be received by you in the future depends on the amount of corpus accumulated at the time of scheme’s maturity.
  • The NPS calculator will show you the amount of corpus that will be accumulated by you at the time of maturity and approximate amount of monthly pension to be received by you.
  • The amount of corpus accumulated by the time you retire will depend on your investment amount and returns generated.
  • Who can use NPS calculator?
  • NPS calculator can be used by anyone who is eligible to invest in the scheme. As per the NPS rules, any Indian citizen between the ages of 18 years and 60 years can invest in the scheme. The person will require complying with know-your-customer (KYC) norms to start the investing in the scheme.

How to use this calculator

  • To know how much corpus will be accumulated by you, the calculator will require the following details:
  1. a) Your current age and the age you wish to retire
  2. b) Amount that will be invested by you every month
  3. c) Returns that you expect to earn from your NPS investment
  4. d) Annuity period, i.e., number of years over which you wish to receive the monthly pension in the post retirement years. You are required to mention this number in years.
  5. e) The percentage of pension wealth invested in the annuity plan means the percent of accumulated corpus you will use to buy a pension plan. This cannot be below 40 percent if you withdraw at 60 years or more. If you withdraw before 60 years, it cannot be below 80 percent.
  6. f) Expected rate of interest on the annuity investment is the returns that you expect to earn from your annuity (pension) during the post-retirement period.
  7. A bank is a financial institution that accepts deposits from the public and creates credit.[1] Lending activities can be performed either directly or indirectly through capital markets. Due to their importance in the financial stability of a country, banks are highly regulated in most countries. Most nations have institutionalized a system known as fractional reserve banking under which banks hold liquid assets equal to only a portion of their current liabilities. In addition to other regulations intended to ensure liquidity, banks are generally subject to minimum capital requirements based on an international set of capital standards, known as the Basel Accords.
  • Banking in its modern sense evolved in the 14th century in the prosperous cities of Renaissance Italy but in many ways was a continuation of ideas and concepts of credit and lending that had their roots in the ancient world. In the history of banking, a number of banking dynasties – notably, the Medicis, the Fuggers, the Welsers, the Berenbergs, and the Rothschilds – have played a central role over many centuries. The oldest existing retail bank is Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena, while the oldest existing merchant bank is Berenberg Bank.
